Hmmm..
Camp Summary
I know its too late to summarise stuffs. I havent had da time to lay this out here until now. The camp organised by STAR in AMP was an ok-ok for starters. Need a lot of brush ups though. But, if i'm not wrong, they've been organising camps for years and should be experienced enough ryte? Well, dun get me wrong, not trying to say i'm perfect and neither do i making any provocative deductions here. Just to discharge my realistic views that have been stored in my mind since da day before da camp even started. From my analysis, i felt that team work & co-operation between the committee members should be strong. As a leader, one should depict positive qualities in order to make an event to turn out well. I believe most of them lack of leadership qualities but I could see some outstanding-to-be ones in da group.
Above all, RESPECT is what we seek in a committee. No matter if u are of the same age group or not, all should be treated with the same amount of respect. You have to listen and relent to the instructions given by the upperhand and of course individual opinions should be welcomed at any time and leaders should put that into clear considerations as well. I've committed myself to organising camps n such during my younger days & i felt it worked out well although we do have some hiccups here & there but in my opinion we had the team spirit, tolerance, gd team work, co-operation n of course respect between us. Even if a minor hiccup crossed our path, we would all stand by together & received the blame equally. That shows how strong a team could be.
To organise an event, we need to have a neat, proper & smooth preparations to avoid unnecessary stress. And to think that its only a 2 day camp with primary skool kids? Not trying to act smart here, but da five of us shows extreme unhappiness during da camp but we decided to keep it mum as we volunteered to participate mainly just for leisure. Not out to scrutinise any party involved though. But be rational, u can take my opinion in a positive way. maybe it will help to improve ur future events.
I felt sorry for Haizam who didnt feel a bit welcome at all. That's the reason y if those ppl there took noticed of his stuck up appearance. Maybe miscommunication do occurs. I'm not denying that either. But, like i said, one must be well prepared & must know their individual tasks. Like me & Haizam, we dun even know what's going on. Not that we r trying to make ourselves scarce but we felt really unwanted there. i had to even asked for a job to avoid severe boredom. luckily, some understood our intentions and started the ball rolling or else we would be bored to death doing nothing & lazed around. I would rather indulged in my beauty sleep than turning up for da camp. like we took our annual leaves okay.. and when things doesnt go the rite way.. da shitty feelings really sux okay.. da person in charge should be briefing us clearly & should include us in every meetings they had during da camp itself. but.. hmmm..
However, i felt that the idea of the whole camp is there. the games were cool.. Mima & Shah should be enjoying themselves as they were da facilitators. At least there's sumting to do. Ena was sick and unhappy about some stuffs. Felt sorry for her too.. I dun understand y even in Muslim organisation do have political issues. Oh my GOD! mcm mane melayu nak maju?? k, like WHATEVER~!
Sumtymes rite, u gotta reflect ur ownself first before bitching abt others. i dun feel gd bitching abt others when i myself aint perfect.. rite? well, i do admit i do bitch around but there's a limit to everything. Know ur limits, and u will survive in this world? Am i ryte? think abt it.. :)
Overall, i'm cool abt da camp. I dun bear any grudges & whoever who reads my entry feel that i'm showing attitude, being daring or a bitch, oh well i am! hahahaa.. if its gonna changed your perception against me.. as a kakak, a tutor in amp, oh well, fuck it, i dun give a damn. and pls whoever hu aint happy wif what i wrote, c me personally and dun just shut it & bitch behind my back. and when u c me, u'll be giving me those fake smiles & "friendly" handshakes like as if u r neutral & cool abt my point of views. Fyi, i'm a matured young laydee.. i dun haf the time to bear any grudges or go against anyone coz i felt that it aint gonna bring u anywhere. i am neutral. no hard feelings though.. :)
