Oh gosh, isn't it the same everywhere?
Just got some news frm my colleague that i had to do his stuffs ongoing. Hundreds of orders to update the surcharges n such. Although its a simple job, but its monotonous and simply will take a lot of my time. Heard sumting like i am not overloaded as yet because the transition of my 12 newly set-up supplier Jabil are not yet stable. Once it stabilised I can forgo his work. Like WTF rite? At this early stages i need to maintain and make things right so that it wont go haywire when Jabil are fully established. Only less than 100 orders for each, i faced a lot of issues every single day. Rectify the prob maself or with the help of my US management. Doesnt mean I dun bring up to them the issues i'm facing, he could have this thinking i aint overloaded. He just don't want our manager to do my back-up's work. But my boss being kind wanted to help out rite.. If that's the case, then go and hire someone lah! Which part he doesnt understand?!
My back up is going for a holiday frm today till next wed if i aint wrong. I wouldnt mind covering him at the period he's away but ongoingly? i tink i haf a problem with that. We have another back up of lesser work than me & him. He's been a great help. My back up planned to give me fewer things but what would the other party feel right? stress sak.. i dun wanna have a rigid collaboration with my colleagues.. and i dun want my back up to be on the escalation path if i dun finish up his work within the given deadline. How to rectify this shit sia??
The thing is what abt my other vendors? Ever since another colleague left, we were NOT FAIRLY divided of his workload which apparently made me & Eila so pissed. If being efficient is the reason of the adding to our already amounted workload, then i would rather slack! Some of us been thinking y do some of us were spared frm additional workload.. simple reason, appeared to be really busy while they are not and another thing, BOOTLICKING. dats it! grrrrr..
I've been a slacker all these while.. i admit that. A slacker that is efficient. Appeared to be slacking but yet my amounted workload can be seen decreasing. You just need to work smart and not work hard. Applies the same to study right?
Another 2 of my colleagues are leaving soon. If i were to be the victim again, seriously i will retaliate. Rite Eila? And we've been dying to leave the place. Saddening.. Environment is good with all the alluring colleagues. Most leaving due to only 1 person just above us. So is it a problem with how we work or YOU? haizzz...
